Music Mind Machine research centre hosts open house event

The Music Mind Machine research centre, based in the Department of Music, recently held an open house event.

During the public event, PhD students demonstrated the techniques and equipment they use in their studies. Attendees were able to find out more about empirical methods for understanding music, and were given an insight into what music researchers do.

The project received a small award from the ¬†Curriculum Development Fund, which aims to facilitate student engagement in the Faculty’s intellectual community.
