Campus Tours

Join one of our campus tours and find out what Sheffield has to offer. The tours are a great way to get a feel for the campus as you stop at various locations and venues. The tours will last for approximately 60 minutes and are led by trained postgraduate ambassadors.

The tours will leave from the Main Exhibition in Firth Hall at 11.30am, 12 noon, 12.30pm and 3pm.

Library Tours

All tours start at 11.45am and last 15-20 minutes.

There are three separate library tours to choose from:


Western Bank Library

A traditional library environment housing research materials, archives and special collections. Subject book collections are for Science, Arts and Humanities and Social Science.

Information Commons

A recently built multimedia facility including PCs, laptop space and printing. Includes core texts across all subjects.

St. George's Library

Specialised materials such as Engineering, Management and Computer Science. Also includes research materials, archives, PCs and silent study space.
