Hello, and welcome! Along with the meetings we are holding, you will also need to attend the sessions held by the School of Languages as a whole.

For your BA Modern Languages you will study three languages. You can also opt to include a linguistics module in your first year.
We offer four major European languages within the Modern Languages degree: French, German, Russian and Spanish. Two of these - Spanish and Russian - can be studied from scratch at Sheffield.
What’s less well-known is that there are further languages which can be studied within the BAML degree. These include Catalan, Czech, Dutch, Italian, Polish, and Portuguese.
